i asked you guys a while back what kind of handgun to get my wife, who is a first time shooter.

well, we got something last night.

my local gander had a slightly used (it looks new) S&W model 63 .22 revolver. wish i had a picture of the actual gun, but we have a 3 day waiting period here, so i can't get it until this weekend. anyway, here is a stock photo:

i hope the 5" inch barrel will be more accurate for her and keep her interested in it. if not, it will always look nice alongside my S&W model 28 highway patrol .357!

little pricey at $499, but she loved it, so i had to go for it.

Everybody likes a dirty harry. Hope she can hang onto it.

edit: Aww, I thought it was .357, back to remedial literacy classes for me.

make sure you get her some ear plugs those .22 revolvers are loud.
